"It is not the quantity, but the quality of the work that matters." - Schweizer
Since 2020, I am tenured professor for Information Management & Digitalization at the Faculty of Tourism-Management at the University of Applied Sciences Kempten and deputy academic director of the Research Center Finance & Information Management (FIM) and the Project Group Business & Information Systems Engineering of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT).
I have expertise in the areas of digitalization, applied data analytics, and sustainable smart districts & mobility. In those subject areas, I have been granted various national and international applied research projects with a volume of over 2 million Euros for my organizations. Besides publicly funded research projects, my team and I support companies in meeting the challenges of digitalization & sustainability. In particular, we use data-based analyses to evaluate new business models.
During the last years, I regularly published in internationally renowned journals and conferences, and I’ve been asked to review for several renowned journals and conferences. I am also an external reviewer for some doctoral theses.
