Since 2020, I am a tenured research professor for Information Management & Digitalization at the Faculty of Tourism-Management at the University of Applied Sciences Kempten and the Institute for Sustainable and Innovative Tourism (INIT).

I am interested in interdisciplinary research on applied data science and behavioral science for visitor management and smart mobility. In this domain, my team have been granted various applied research projects. Prior to this work, i did research in Energy Informatics. During the last years, I regularly published in internationally renowned journals and conferences, and I’ve been asked to review for several renowned journals and conferences. I am also the supervisor of some doctoral theses.
